Immediate benefits upon hire :

Winter and Summer Seasons

  • 25% off at all Big Sky Resort food outlets, not including alcohol. Not to be combined with any other discount. See other food discounts for each season below.
  • 20%-30% discount off in-stock merchandise at Big Sky Sports, Outfitters, Provisions and Boardroom within given time frames.
  • Family Lodging Discounts- Huntley Lodge 50% off rack rate for immediate family on space-available basis.
  • Health Club Discounts- Shoshone discount season pass based on availability or Big Sky Health and Fitness 6 month discounted pass.

  • Part-Time Employee Ski Pass- Non-refundable cost of $250.
  • Lone Peak Season Pass- Discounted pass to ski at Moonlight Basin as well as Big Sky.
  • 50% discount on food in the cafeteria.
  • Discounted Lift Tickets- Up to 10 half-price lift tickets for friends and family.
  • Snow Sports- Discounts on ski or snowboard lessons.
  • Ski Rental- Discounts on rentals for employees and immediate family.
  • Ski Repair- Discounts on tune-ups, P-tex work, sharpen, wax and binding installation.
  • Montana Ski Area Association- Two FREE lift tickets to all Montana Ski Resorts.
  • Ski at other Boyne Mountains with valid season pass (some Boyne Resorts require lodging for your free ticket ).

Full Time Year Round Employee Benefits

Big Sky Resort offers a variety of benefits and opportunities for its employees.  Some are dependent only upon employment, while others are dependent upon employment status, age, length of employment, etc.  Benefits are subject to change.

Immediate benefits upon hire:

  • ALL SEASONAL BENEFITS
  • Additional Discounts
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Accident and Disability  Insurance (immediate coverage and contribution applies to salaried FTYR only, on the first day if the month following your hire date).
  • Holiday accrual for FTYR (7 designated holidays per year).

Additional Benefits after 90 days (first of the month following 90 days):

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Accident and Disability Insurance and Flexible Spending Accounts (FTYR hourly employees averaging 30 hours per week and remain full-time, on the first day of the month following your hire date).

Benefits after 1 year:

  • 401 (K) / Roth - Must be 21 years old and worked over 1000 hours (also available to seasonal employees).
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Accident and Disability Insurance and Flexibe Spending Accounts (Seasonal employees who have worked 1560 hours in the last year).
  • Eligible for a Company contribution toward medical, vision and dental coverage (Hourly FTYR).
  • Paid Vacation (FTYR status members only).
