Mark Wehrman Named Big Sky Resort Head Golf Pro

BIG SKY, Mont. - Big Sky Resort is pleased to announce PGA Professional Mark Wehrman as the new Head Golf Professional for the resort's public, 18-hole Arnold Palmer course.
Wehrman earned his Associate of Applied Business degree from The Golf Academy of America in Chandler, AZ and is a Class A Member of the Professional Golfers Association of America. Wehrman comes to Big Sky after years of experience as Assistant Golf Professional at The Club Pelican Bay and the Olde Florida Golf Club in Florida, and most recently as the General Manager and Head Professional and Eaglerock Golf Course in Billings, MT.
"We are excited to have Mark join our Big Sky team with the great experiences he'll bring to our operation," said Big Sky Human Resources Director Dax Schieffer.
Wehrman has vacationed at Big Sky Resort since he was little and is excited and honored to join the company as Head Golf Professional, he said. "I look forward to promoting golf in Big Sky through creative tournaments, golf instruction, and outstanding guest service."
Big Sky Resort's scenic 18-hole par 72 golf course combines classic links-style golf and the stunning natural beauty of Big Sky country beneath Lone Peak. The Arnold Palmer course is 6,500 feet above sea level, offering longer drives and spectacular views. The course is also home to the Bunker Bar and Grill and a fully equipped pro shop.
