Grice Obtains CMP Status for Big Sky Resort
Big Sky, Mont. (December 30, 2013) - Big Sky Resort's National Sales Manager, Katie Grice, is a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) after passing the CMP program and testing, making her one of only four CMPs in Montana. The CMP certification is the highest standard of professionalism for Meeting Planner Professionals worldwide awarded by the Convention Industry Council (CIC).
In order to receive this distinction, Grice had to demonstrate her experience and education in Meeting Planning and pass a rigorous three hour exam testing her knowledge of the meeting industry, standard practices, and ethical guidelines.
Grice's CMP certification provides Big Sky Resort's Yellowstone Conference Center a higher distinction among Meeting Planners knowing the Resort operates at the same high standard of professionalism. Grice is the only Montana CMP representing a venue. "I wanted to pave the way for our Resort to go beyond what others do," said Grice "and with this certification I can serve our clients even better."
