March Music Mayhem Series at Big Sky Resort

Big Sky, Mont. (February 20, 2014) - Big Sky Resort is bringing in some big music acts in March for their "March Music Mayhem" series March 14 - 21, 2014 at Whiskey Jack's.

Kicking off the music mayhem month is McTuff on Friday, March 14, 2014. McTuff is a movin' and groovin' adventure with a mix of stellar musicianship and seasoned songwriting creating a powerful, jaw-dropping funk and jazz sound like you've never heard.

Leftover Salmon will play two nights at Saturday, March 15, 2014 and Sunday, March 16, 2014. They came out of Boulder, Colorado in 1989, bringing electric bluegrass and rock and roll to the mainstream.

March 17, 2014, The Weekenders bring their raw rock and roll and March 18, 2014 the Jeff Crosby Band will take the stage and Jerry Joseph has praised Crosby with, "his guitar playing is frankly ripping; he's got a big thoughtful voice and a great hungry band."

Playing March 19, 2014 are The Magic Beans, who have established themselves as one of the most prominent and original acts from Colorado with their original songs, virtuosic playing and fusing genres.

All this music mayhem leads up to the final two nights, March 21st and March 22nd with Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons, who have been a Big Sky tradition for over ten years, playing a high caliber songs written by the acclaimed songwriter.

According to Steve Merlino, mayhem music organizer, "Two nights of Jerry is what we are accustomed to here at Big Sky in March. We have been doing that for quite a while. The difference this year is the Mayhem Series. You are going to need stamina to stand up to this series of high-powered music at Whiskey Jack's. Just when you think it's over, Jerry Joseph rolls into town. It really is analogous to the big skiing we are all used to around here."

Merlino is still busy nailing down a few more acts and promises great après ski music daily on the big stage at Whiskey Jack's for signature concerts throughout the series.

Tickets are on sale online for Leftover Salmon and Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons, tickets will also be available at the door, if available. All other venues have no cover charge. Visit
