Military Appreciation Weekend at Big Sky Resort

Big Sky, Mont. (February 13, 2014) - Big Sky Resort is honored to announce a Military Appreciation Long Weekend, extended from Wednesday to Sunday, March 12-15, 2014, to again thank our Armed forces for their service to our Country. Active duty or retired military men and woman receive lodging, lift ticket, and group lessons discounts.

"Our last Military appreciation Weekend in December was so well received, that we wanted to do it again and for a longer period of time," said Sheila Chapman, Public Relations Manager for Big Sky Resort. "Our snow is so great right now and skiing is a great way for military families to play together."

Active duty, retired military, and their immediate family receive over 50% discount on lodging at the Huntley Lodge and save 15% on snowsport lessons. Big Sky Resort's daily Military discounted adult lift tickets are $79.00 per day. Military are eligible to purchase Big Sky Resort's Sky Card for $69.00 to receive further discounts off the Military lift ticket price, bringing the Military adult lift ticket to $59.00 per day for the rest of the season.

In conjunction with the Military Weekend, Saturday, March 15 is Big Sky Resort's Sunset Saturdays when the Ramcharger chair lift stays open until 5:00pm. Also on Saturday, Leftover Salmon will be playing at Whiskey Jack's.
