Child and Day Care
Our friendly and caring staff welcomes your child to the Lone Peak Playhouse (LPP), right at the base of Big Sky's slopes. Relax and enjoy the area while your child plays with other children in our safe and fun environment. We are a center that operates in conjunction with Big Sky Resort and the Snowsports School. LPP is conveniently located in the Snowcrest Lodge, across the hall from the Snowsports School.
Childcare services for Summer 2015 will be available for conferences, groups, and larger families. To be able to staff accordingly, we should be notified at least 14 days prior, and a reservation with payment 10 days prior is requested.

Lone Peak Playhouse believes that children deserve a vacation too. Our Playhouse offers a caring, safe and fun environment where children can play, rest and enjoy their day. Our different-themed play areas will keep them busy for hours and also spark their imagination and creativity. Lone Peak Playhouse always follows appropriate practices and uses positive guidance and positive reinforcement to encourage and foster personal development.
What to Bring
Each child will be given a small cubby for his/her belongings. All children should bring an extra change of clothes, a warm jacket, sturdy shoes, sun blocking hat and sunscreen. Children wearing diapers should bring at least four diapers for a full day. The playhouse will supply wipes, but please bring any diaper creams or pastes.
Each day will include teacher directed play & free play, outdoor play (time & weather permitting), organized art projects and games, story time, and rest or quiet time. The playhouse will serve three nutritious meals (for children 13 months & up): Morning Snack (approx. 9:30), Lunch (12:00 - 12:30), and Afternoon Snack (approx. 3:00). In addition to our meal selections, children may also bring alternative snacks/meals, please no peanuts, tree nuts, almond milk or nut butters. Also, please refrain from packing unnecessary candy/treats. Please note: Children arriving after 12:30 will miss our lunchtime. It is best for those children to eat before arriving. Infants and toddlers should bring any necessary bottles, formula, &/or jar baby food. The playhouse also encourages infants, toddlers and napping children to bring a naptime comfort item. Please remember to label everything with your child's full name. The Lone Peak Playhouse is not responsible for lost, broken, misplaced or stolen items.
Dismissal from Daycare
Lone Peak Playhouse will make every attempt to create an enjoyable experience for your child; however, our teachers cannot be occupied for an excessive amount of time with one child in a group setting.
