The Biggest Skiing in America Just Got Bigger
Welcome to the Biggest Skiing in America! As of October 1, 2013, Cross Harbor in partnership with Boyne completed the purchase of Moonlight Basin and is now permanently part of one great (and huge) ski complex - Big Sky Resort. With over 30 lifts, 4,350 vertical feet and 5,750 total acres of skiing, the combination of Moonlight with Big Sky and Spanish Peaks resorts makes skiing both Big Sky bigger and better.
If you've skied Moonlight in the past for its low-key vibe and impressive terrain, you'll find the amenities and feel will remain the same, but with day tickets that don't cut you off when you hit a border. If you love (and ski) both mountains, you'll enjoy a seamless and cheaper way to enjoy all that Lone Mountain and Andesite have to offer.
Current season pass holders at Big Sky and Moonlight Basin in the 2013/2014 ski season can keep their passes as they are, or take advantage of a limited time opportunity to upgrade to a full Biggest Skiing in America season pass at huge savings. Check out the Biggest Skiing in America Season Pass page to learn more about upgrading your season pass.
We can't wait to open this massive ski experience for the 2013/2014 winter season, our 40th anniversary, and have you be a part of it. We have new shops, more glade skiing, a redesigned beginner ski zone, and the Biggest Skiing in America waiting to welcome you back.
