March 8th and 22nd Solace Wellness Studio presents The Art of Being Mindful: A Wellness Night Out.

Lianne Kershaw has been practicing yoga for fifteen years and teaching for ten. As a massage therapist she has an extensive knowledge of the body which enhances her teaching skills. She has taught yoga locally in Big Sky and has also travelled to Nepal four times to teach during adventure trekking/yoga trips. Her training includes study at Kripalu Institute and workshops with favorite yoga masters in the U.S. and Mexico which have given her a diverse and well-rounded style of teaching.
Emily Bludman is thrilled to be teaching Kettlebell Conditioning and Ski Conditioning for her third season with the Big Sky Wellness Studio. Emily worked as a Personal Trainer in New York City for several years, where she became certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist, with specialties in Kettlebells Level 1 and Level 2 training. With a passion for activities and especially snowboarding, Emily is stoked to be a part of the Big Sky Wellness Studio again this winter.
Anna Ourusoff has been teaching yoga for over 16 years, exploring various methods including Ashtanga, Iyengar and Anusara. She devotes herself to the continued study of elegant and precise biomechanical alignment principles developed through the scientific and living art of Hatha Yoga. Anna's classes empower and support each student's unique differences, limitations, and gifts, emphasizing and supporting the creative expression of the heart. What brings her most joy is to share her knowledge and experience in the hopes of helping students move through life's struggles and cultivate faith that they can open, heal and become more joyfully themselves. Anna co-owns and directs Montana Lotus Yoga in Bozeman: www.montanalotusyoga.com. She teaches in Big Sky, Bozeman, and regionally, leading workshops and retreats.
Jennifer Waters began teaching Ballet Fitness and Zumba, at Big Sky Resort, in 2012. She enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels in many disciplines, including; Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Zumba Kids/Kids Jr. She recently took the stage in Montana Ballet Company's "Nutcracker", 2013. Jennifer is the choreographer and featured dancer in the Warren Miller Performing Arts Centers, "All the World's a Stage", video. She is also currently the choreographer for "Big Sky Broadway". You may have seen her work in "Peter Pan", 2013. Before moving to Montana, she danced professionally with Boise, Idaho based, "Off Center Dance Project", and "Idaho Dance Theatre". Jennifer enjoys sharing her love of dance with the children and adults of Big Sky.
Linda Wilton has spent several years living in Big Sky, Montana working as a yoga instructor, massage therapist, and ski patroller. She enjoys the outdoors and has a passion for health and the environment. She gravitated towards yoga while seeking a physical balance to her active mountain lifestyle. Her desire to blend yoga practice into everyday life led Linda to attend 200 hours of teaching training in Bali, Indonesia with teacher Vidya Jacqueline Heisel, founder of Frog Lotus Yoga. More recently Linda has continued her yogic studies in Yin yoga with Biff Mithoefer. Linda teaches a vinyasa flow style class that focuses on linking the breath with fluid movement with the intention of warming and opening the body. You may also find her blending a more "yin" style practice in letting go of muscle engagement and striving in order to access the deeper connective tissues in the hips and spine during longer held mat poses. As a Yoga instructor, licensed Massage therapist, and certified Reiki practitioner, Linda hopes to help people find balance and become more aware of their physical, mental, and emotional bodies. It is her intention to promote and encourage active, healthy lifestyles in order for Big Sky community members and visitors to experience optimal health and fully enjoy their life and all the outdoor adventures that Big Sky has to offer.
Jen Avery has been practicing yoga since 2001 and has had the opportunity to work with many great teachers around the US and abroad. She did her 200 hour training in Raja Yoga with Jackie Chiodo of Peaceful Yoga in Costa Rica and also has training in Reiki. Based on the Eight Limbed Path, Raja Yoga studies the ancient teachings of Pantajali's Yoga Sutra to create a union between body, mind and spirit, enabling peace, health and harmony. Her yoga practice links the breath with fluid movements, using asana alignment for strong and engaged poses to protect the body, while softness is encouraged to go deeper in your practice and still the fluxuations of the mind.
Allison Gilley has been passionate about Zumba® for 3 years. She is certified in Zumba® Toning, Aqua, Gold and recently obtained her Zumba® Pro Skills. Are you ready to party yourself into shape? Zumba®classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before you know it you'll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring! It's easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating. Allison is excited to be a part of the Wellness Studio this winter.
