Good morning skiers and riders!
Today is Wednesday, November 26th and we have less than 24 hours until the lifts start spinning! We have received five inches overnight and 9 inches in the past 48 hours at mid mountain on top of the snow from last weekend’s storm. Current conditions are cloudy and 29 degrees. Today’s forecast is for a 60% chance of snow and light to moderate westerly winds. The anticipated hi for today is 32 with a low of 28 tonight.
Opening day is tomorrow so come on up and take advantage of the fresh snow and enjoy the festivities! Look for updates throughout the day on Facebook and Twitter as we will keep you salivating with tastes of the freshies! The winter storm advisory remains in effect so take care on your way up here. Big Sky Resort is currently closed. For the safety of you and our staff, all recreational activities on Big Sky Resort's property are prohibited, including skiing, snowboarding, sledding, hiking, and snowmobiling. We are very excited to reopen for winter activities on November 27, 2014 through April 19, 2015. Moonlight Area planned opening is December 12, 2014.
