Snow Report for Thursday, December 18th
19" Mid Mountain / 28" Upper Mountain
Powder / Packed Powder
Good morning skiers and riders! Today’s date is Thursday, December 18th. A calm clear night has left us without any new snow but we received 3-7 inches in the past 48 hours. Today we are expecting partly cloudy skies with a chance of snow showers. The high temperature for today should be in the low 20’s with a low in the mid-teens tonight at mid-mountain areas. Winds should be coming from the SW at 5-15 mph around 8500 ft. It looks like we have some more snow coming throughout the weekend so stay psyched because it’s only getting better. Yesterday we skied some 5% blower and there was still plenty left for today. Challenger will be closed today for unscheduled maintenance but we will be running the Headwaters lift to access the terrain that has been open up there. Please note that the Headwaters terrain is not open yet and this is just to access Moonlight currently.
Please Remember, early season conditions do exist. The Mid-Mountain Base is 25” and upper is 36”. For the most up to date information, please call Mountain Services at 406-995-5749.
Thanks for reading and have a safe day.
