Phased Reopening Details | Phase 1

During Phase 1, the following lines of business will open with modified operational changes and strict social distancing and sanitation practices:

  • Golf Course & Pro Shop
  • Whitewater Inn
  • Bunker Deck and Grill & Vista Hall
  • Mountain Biking & Scenic Lift
  • Big Sky Sports & Lone Peak Logo

Golf Course - Opening May 22

  • Guests and members are encouraged to book tee times online or over the phone.
  • Pro Shop will be open, with no more than six people in the shop at a time.
  • Carts will be available for use; they will be washed and sanitized between rounds.
  • Water coolers, ball washers, bunker rakes, benches, bathrooms, and trash cans will not be available on the course.
  • Flagsticks will remain in the cup. Please do not touch or remove the flagstick.
  • Driving Range will be open with social distancing and sanitizing measures in place.
  • Bag stands, chairs, trash cans, sand and seed buckets will not be available at the range.


Whitewater Inn - Opening May 22

  • Guest rooms will not be booked back to back.
  • Occupied rooms will be spaced out.
  • Pool, hot tub, and fitness centers will open if government guidelines can be met.
  • To-go breakfast boxes will be available for pick up from the front desk.


Bunker Deck and Grill - Opening May 29

  • Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Outdoor seating will be open with 75% capacity.
  • Indoor seating will remain closed.
  • Take out available, along with delivery on the course.
  • Beverage Cart will be open for to-go beverages.


Bike Park - Opening June 26

  • Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets, passes, rentals, and coaching sessions online. Tickets and passes can be uploaded to previously purchased RFID card.
  • Lift lines will have "hands free" gates, guests should follow social distancing guidelines.
  • Groups not traveling together will be allowed to ride the chair lift independently. Guests will be asked to load and unload their own bikes when possible.
  • Seating will be removed from stopping points along trails, please keep 2 bike lengths distancing while riding.
  • Rental bikes and protective gear will be sanitized between uses. Group coaching sessions will be available in a limited capacity.


Scenic Lift - Opening June 26

  • Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online. Tickets can be uploaded to previously purchased RFID card.
  • Lift lines will have "hands free" gates, guests should follow social distancing guidelines.
  • Groups not traveling together will be allowed to ride the chair lift independently.


Vista Hall Dining - Opening June 26

Indoor and outdoor seating will be reduced by 50% and no bar seating is available. To go options available.


Mountain Village Retail - Opening June 26

Big Sky Sports and Lone Peak Logo will be open with less than 50% occupancy.


Plaza and Outdoor Areas - Opening June 26

  • Signage will be present to help with social distancing guidelines.
  • Seating will be spaced to help with social distancing, please do not move seating.

Parking

We ask all guests to park a minimum of one vehicle width away from other vehicles. Big Sky Resort offers plentiful free day parking in the Mountain Village.
