Big Sky PBR features three nights of Challenger Series Professional Bull Riding with some of the world’s top riders and bulls, plus family-friendly activities all week long.

The Big Sky PBR is part of PBR’s Challenger Series – a competition series following World Finals consisting of more than 60 events in 27 states across the United States. With its Championship held in Ft. Worth, Texas, the Challenger Series will run in conjunction with the PBR Camping World Team Series – a ten-team league competing in five-on-five bull riding games throughout the year.

Big Sky PBR’s high-octane show is a spectacle to witness, and a treat to experience in Big Sky’s intimate arena with one of Mother Nature’s best backdrops – the 11,166-foot Lone Mountain.

Friday, July 11

Big Sky Community Rodeo

Presented by Yellowstone Club, the Big Sky Rodeo features some of Montana State University’s finest up-and-coming rodeo athletes as they entertain with a variety of rodeo disciplines including Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Tie-Down Roping, Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing and Bull Riding.

Montana's Premier Horse Sale

New for 2025, Premier Horse Sales is bringing America’s TOP horses to be auctioned off in the Big Sky Events Arena on July 12th. This exclusive event showcases a hand-picked selection of top-tier horses, offering an unmatched buying experience where quality and trust come first.

Running of the Bulls

New to Big Sky’s Biggest Week, Running of the Bulls is a trail race taking you through the heart of Big Sky on dirt and single track. Runners can tackle a 21K, 11K, or 5K Relay as a team of three. Running of the Bulls is more than just a race—it’s a fundraiser dedicated to supporting the Big Sky Community Organization.

Free Community Day & Mutton Bustin’

This year’s Community Day & Mutton Bustin’ will include an array of family-friendly activities including carnival games and prizes, circus entertainment, food trucks, sweet treats and sheep riding through the arena for the highest score.

Dick Allgood Community Bingo Night

Everyone is familiar with the rush of adrenaline when you’re the first to get a row of perfectly inked stamps on your BINGO card. Join us for the 5th Annual Dick Allgood Community BINGO Night benefiting Big Sky Bandage. Events include a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, food and beverages, BINGO prizes and the chance to be the BINGO champion.
