Madison 8 and One&Only Gondola Ribbon Cutting

Join us for the grand opening of the new Madison 8 chairlift and One&Only Gondola. Celebrations will start with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and traditional bell ringing of the world's longest eight-place chairlift, followed by the grand opening of the One&Only gondola.

• Madison 8 will open for skier access at 10 AM. To attend the ribbon cutting ceremony, we encourage guests to park in Mountain Village and ski over to the lower terminal of Madison 8.

The celebrations will feature a DJ spinning at the base of the Madison 8. MAP Brewing will also be serving samples of their newest collaboration with Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin, the M8 Mountain Lager. Continue the festivities and ride the new One&Only gondola to the Sky Lodge for celebratory drinks and bites after the ribbon cutting.
