The Pronghorn
Take on Lone Mountain with this shortened but still challenging route. The Pronghorn climbs to the top of Lone Peak, descends the Big Couloir, and then climbs again over the Headwaters Ridge and down Jack Creek before returning to Mountain Village. The route includes alpine climbs with exposure over cliffs and avalanche paths, 50º+ bootpacks, and down some of Big Sky's steepest descents. This is a technical ski mountaineering race and should only be attempted by experienced athletes.
