The Shedhorn

In this world-class endurance race, you'll work against gravity and come away knowing you completed the toughest skimo race course in the country. Summiting Lone Peak from two different approaches, this course takes you up alpine climbs with exposure over cliffs and avalanche paths, 50º+ bootpacks, and down some of Big Sky's steepest descents, including the Big Couloir. This is a technical ski mountaineering race and should only be attempted by experienced athletes.
