Lone Peak Tram cabin rendering

ALL-NEW LONE PEAK TRAM

Experience Lone Peak in a new way. The new Lone Peak Tram has an easier loading process, a more spacious cabin, and shorter wait times. With the new Tram will come changes to how it is accessed, making for a better experience as guests explore the top of Lone Mountain.

  • Per Ride Tram Access - Tram rates will be changing from per-day to per-ride. Rates will vary daily depending on snow conditions, open trails, weather, and visibility. Rates for skiers/snowboarders and scenic Tram riders will be separate.
  • Capacity Changes - the new Tram can accommodate up to 75 people per cabin. Each ride to the peak will have set quantities for skiers/snowboarders, scenic riders, and Big Sky personnel. Capacity for each group type will be limited based on snow conditions, open trails, weather, and visibility.
  • Scenic Tram Access - With more capacity, guests are welcome to walk onto the Tram to live the experience of Lone Peak without having to ski or snowboard down. Per-ride scenic rates will be posted daily.

Load your reusable Sky Card

All lift tickets must be loaded onto a reusable RFID Sky Card. If you already have a Sky Card, load your lift ticket onto the card at checkout. You can head straight to the lifts without visiting the ticket window.

If you don't have your Sky Card yet, you will be able to purchase one during the lift ticket checkout process. Pick up your tickets at our Sky Card Express Boxes on-resort. Scan the QR code in your confirmation email and it will print out your Sky Card loaded with your lift tickets. You can also pick up Sky Cards at Basecamp, Mountain Services, or the Madison Base ticket office.
