Big Sky Wins BIG at ADDY Awards

BIG SKY, Mont. - The marketing team at Big Sky Resort was awarded three "ADDYs" (American Advertising Awards) by the Montana chapter of the American Advertising Federation. The awards were presented in Great Falls February 23, 2013. The ADDYs are the advertising industries largest and most representative competition, attracting over 50,000 entries every year in local ADDY competitions. The mission of the ADDY competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising.

Big Sky Resort Multimedia Coordinator Chris Kamman was awarded Gold in the Digital Media category for his video previewing the 2012-13 winter season, which he filmed and edited. First winning Gold, Chris's video was later awarded best in show for the night beating out the other gold advertising winners. Chris received the award through his hard work and efforts in producing quality videos that hit at the core of the Big Sky skiing experience.
"Chris's passion and efforts in sharing the Big Sky skiing experience resonate in all his work. We're truly fortunate to have him and his talents on our Marketing team," said Lyndsey Owens, Big Sky Resort Marketing Director.

Big Sky Resort was awarded a third time winning Silver for its "Real Mom Heroes" radio campaign. Written & directed by Big Sky Resort Brand Manager Glenniss Indreland, produced by SoundLogic Audio with the assistance of account manager Lyndsey Owens, Big Sky Resort Director of Marketing, the radio campaign effectively promoted the spring season pass sale.
