Specialty clinics provide an opportunity to progress your skill and feel more confident on the snow. All clinics have a minimum of 3 participants. All clinics meet at the Mountain Village Mountain Sports School under the covered patio area. Please arrive ready to go by 9:30am, the clinic will conclude for the day at 3:30pm.
Dan Egan Early Bird Camps

This clinic is designed for skiers who want to learn and adapt their skiing skills for All Terrain Skiing. The camp will explore skier's range of balance and stance applied techniques to different terrain from groomed, bumps, steeps and trees. The camp is designed for intermediate and above skiers who are motivated to take their abilities to a new levels and goals. Price includes: 2 Days of guiding and individualized instruction by Dan Egan and his team of trainers plus video movement analysis. Group size is maximum 6. This clinic is designed for skiers who ski off-piste in variable conditions looking to take their skiing to the next level. Lone Peak has some of the best steep and challenging terrain in the country. This clinic provides you with tactics to explore black diamond terrain safely and confidently. Take your skiing and confidence to a higher level by joining our top certified women's pros for a clinic designed specifically for women. The 3-day clinic follows a progression that will build your confidence to ski the whole mountain.
Veteran instructor, Jill Chumbley, described the environment of the women's clinic this way, "In my experience, female skiers often are able to achieve greater gains when they are working in a supportive and comfortable environment. The leaders and participants in the women's clinic often form bonds with each other that give them the confidence to try things they may not have otherwise attempted."
This clinic is designed for advanced-intermediate to expert skiers looking to expand their horizons from off-piste through double black diamonds The 3-day clinic follows a progression that will build your confidence to ski more of the Big Sky’s vast terrain options.
In this clinic you will ski both groomed and off groomed terrain (trees, bumps, steeps, a mix of all). Each day builds on the previous to promote greater success in your ability to maintain progress and explore more of the mountain. Our leaders utilize drills, tactics, terrain, video analysis, as well as group and individualized coaching to work with you to improve your ability and confidence to ski more of what Big Sky has to offer!
Minimum ability requirement for this clinic is strong parallel skier (no wedge) on all blue terrain (including bumps and powder).

North American Ski Training Center's Ski Clinic
Bring your skiing skills up a notch and discover a skiing spirit as wild and big as the terrain of Big Sky. Stretch your limits and build strong off-piste skiing skills with NASTC's teachers of teachers and members of the prestigious PSIA Alpine Team. Your trainer will work with you to strengthen your skill blending, tactics, and show you how to choose your line. You will get lots of mileage as well. NASTC believes that ski improvement comes through total immersion in a fun and supportive learning environment that is skill specific and thorough. Our trainers carefully guide each individual in accomplishing skills and techniques that will stay with them for a lifetime. This course is a step by step progression designed to get you off that intermediate or advanced plateau and skiing the entire mountain well whatever the conditions.
