Masks Required

Our top priorities are to keep our team members, community, and guests safe, and to stay open. To help us with these goals, all guests and team members are required to wear facial coverings indoors. See details of the policy below.

Plan Ahead

For the best availability, whether it be for private ski lessons or dinner reservations, book as early as you can. It's also the best way to save on lift tickets, lessons, rentals, and more.

Stay Up-to-Date

Policies and guidelines change as we learn more about COVID-19, and Big Sky Resort is working to keep up with best practices. Sign up for our email newsletter or download the Big Sky Resort app to receive alerts. 

COVID-19 Protocols

  • Beginning Friday, December 24, Big Sky Resort will transition to an indoor mask requirement for both team members and guests. 

    • Masks will be required in all indoor public spaces. This includes dining facilities (prior to being seated), hallways, restrooms, 
    • Masks will not be required outdoors, including while riding the Lone Peak Tram.
    • The mask requirement applies to all guests ages 2+, and all Big Sky Resort team members, regardless of vaccination status.

    Please wear a facial covering that meets the CDC mask guidelines.

  • Guests visiting Big Sky Resort will not be required to show proof of vaccination. This includes guests using lift access, entering indoor facilities, or staying in Big Sky Resort Central Reservations accommodations.

  • Guests are encouraged to take advantage of online booking, Sky Card pickup boxes, and Rental Delivery to minimize exposure while at Big Sky Resort.

    Our dining, retail, and other public gathering locations are planning to operate at full capacity for the upcoming season.

  • If your trip to Big Sky is impacted by COVID-19 illness or travel limitations, you may request a credit for your purchase.
