Worry-Free Winter Assurance plan

Big Sky Resort promises passholders that the resort will operate for 140 days during the 2020-21 season. In the event that an unexpected circumstance results in resort-wide closure, our passholders will be provided a credit toward a 21-22 season pass based on the percent of the season that was lost. On top of that, you can roll over the value of your unused pass towards a 21-22 season pass for any reason before December 10, 2020. Learn more about Worry-Free Winter Assurance.

Reuse your Sky Card

If you have a season pass or lift ticket from the 2019-2020 winter season, reload your Sky Card for next year's pass. Make sure you're logged in when you make your purchase, and you'll be set to go on November 26th, 2020!

For more information, see our Sky Card info page. If you don't have a Sky Card, you can add one to your checkout process for a $5 fee and your new Sky Card with your 2020-2021 season pass will be mailed to you in the fall, or you can pick it up at Big Sky Resort after June 8th, 2020.

Season Pass FAQs

  • Our passes offer great value for frequent skiers at Big Sky Resort. If you ski 10 days or more, consider a Gold Pass that comes with amazing benefits and unlimited skiing. If you ski 5 days or more, consider one of our Black, Blue, or Flex 5 + passes for the best savings. All passholders receive discounts on retail, dining, lodging, zipline tours, $20 off the regular season full day window rate lift ticket (for days not included in your pass), and summer scenic lift access. For passes with blackout dates or limited access, you can save on purchasing lift tickets when your pass isn't valid.

  • The Big Sky team wants to make every effort to ensure guests who visit this winter season can enjoy the full resort experience with social distancing. A part of that effort is to assess the number of season passes and lift tickets available for purchase this season, and stopping pass sales on June 15 will allow us to be thoughtful on our approach moving forward.

  • Season passes will go off sale after June 15, 2020, with no guarantee they will come back on sale.

  • If there are extenuating circumstances that prevented the purchase of your season pass by June 15, please contact Mountain Services by emailing mountainservices@bigskyresort.com or calling 406-995-5749.
