Boyne Sister Resort benefits give Gold-level passholders three free days of skiing at each of Boyne Resorts' nine mountain destinations across North America, plus an unlimited number of additional days at each resort with 50% off the in-season window rate of daily lift tickets.

How to redeem your Sister Resort Benefits at Big Sky Resort


Welcome to Big Sky! Depending on what pass you have, you'll need to visit our Mountain Services office, located in the Snowcrest Lodge.


Applicable passholders from Boyne Mountain, Boyne Highlands, Brighton, Cypress, Loon Mountain, Sugarloaf, and Sunday River will be able to go directly to the lift and utilize the three (3) free days issued from their home resort pass. Additional days at 50% off will be available for purchase at the ticket windows.


Applicable passholders from The Summit at Snoqualmie will be required to visit a ticket window to pick up an RFID card valid at Big Sky Resort with their three (3) free days issued and any additional days purchased at 50% off.  Please bring your home Sister Resort Pass and ID.

    Please note at Big Sky Resort, Lone Peak Tram access is not included in Boyne Sister Resort tickets. Shawnee Peak will not be included in the sister resort benefits for the 2021-22 season.

  • The sister resort benefit are available during the same season for which you've purchased your pass. Check with each sister resort to verify their opening/closing dates and operating hours. 

  • You do not have to use the days consecutively.

  • No, your free days and 50% discount can be redeemed any day of the season.

  • The 50% savings is available on a one-day regular season ticket purchased at the resort's ticket window and cannot be applied to online purchases or combined with other discounts. Discount cannot be applied to early-season or late-season window rates.

Season Pass Upgrade

  • If your resort's Gold-level passes are still available, you may be able to upgrade your pass. Check with your home resort's season pass office for availability and upgrade details.

  • Please contact the Season Pass Office where you purchased your pass to upgrade. If you purchased a wrap around pass, you will need to return your pass to the Season Pass Office and have a new pass issued.

  • No, an upgrade to a Gold-level pass must be made in a one-time payment of the full upgrade amount.

    Please note that Shawnee Peak will not be included in Sister Resort Benefits for the 2021-22 season.

  • To redeem your tickets, bring your home resort season pass to the sister resort and provide your physical pass to the ticket window and let them know you want to use one of your sister resort benefits. If your home resort uses RFID tickets, you may be able to go directly to the lifts at the resort you are visiting. Check the website of that resort for more information.

  • No, free days do not roll over from season to season.

  • No. Sister resort benefits are available to the passholder only and are not transferable to others. 

  • No, discounts are not available on pre-purchased lift tickets.

  • There is no limit to the number of days a Gold-level passholder can ski at Boyne Resorts destinations using the 50% off benefit. 

  • No, sister resort benefits are available only to Gold-level passholders.

  • No. Each resort offers a different mix of benefits to its passholders and benefits you have at your home resort are not valid at other Boyne Resorts properties.
