In August 2021, President and COO Taylor Middleton spoke during the Pacific Northwest Economic Region (PNWER) conference on the topic of the threat of climate change to our environment and economy.
In April 2022, Big Sky Resort President and COO Taylor Middleton presented to the NorthWestern Energy Board of Directors on sustainability and climate projects and goals.
In April 2022, Big Sky Resort General Manager Troy Nedved co-authored a Guest Column in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, in partnership with Bridger Bowl and the Montana Ski Area's Association, "Congress needs to act on climate to save our winters."
Big Sky Resort and Boyne Resorts endorse the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act (EICDA).
Boyne Resorts signed a Business/Investor Letter to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), supporting strong and achievable clean air standards to reduce harmful pollutants such as particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxide from new and existing fossil fuel power plants, circulated by Ceres, a national non-profit.
Big Sky Resort signed the Business for Climate Action Letter stating that "Climate Action is a Business Priority" and urging President Biden and Congress to immediately act to pass climate legislation.
