Big Sky Resort is a smoke-free campus. Out of respect for our guests’ health, all of our hotel rooms and vacation rental units are smoke-free, as are all public areas, restaurants, bars, pools, lifts, and boarding areas. A fine of up to $500 will be assessed if guests are found to be smoking in their rooms.

The concierge can help you locate a qualified, independent childcare provider.
The resort also has the Lone Peak Playhouse , an independently operated childcare facility that can coordinate childcare with ski school lessons. Your child can ski for half a day and play inside the other half! The Lone Peak Playhouse operates in the winter season only.

Huntley Lodge offers laptop and printer capabilities at the Firehole Lounge.
Dogs
Dogs are not permitted in the Shoshone Condominium Hotel.
Shipping & Mail
U.S. postage drops are available at the Front Desk. Postal service picks up at 11 AM, Monday through Friday. Big Sky Resort is pleased to work with Ship Skis for all your ski and golf club shipping needs. Use the computers in the Huntley Lodge lobby to create shipping labels. Once your package is ready to go, drop it off at the Front Desk or contact a Bellman. UPS and FedEx can be arranged if you provide your own label.

Fire Emergency Procedure
In the event of a fire emergency, please follow the evacuation plan posted on the back of your room door. The evacuation meeting location for all Huntley Lodge and Shoshone Condominium Hotel guests is in the Talus Room of the Summit Hotel.
Our hotels are equipped with state-of-the-art fire suppression and warning systems. Trained professionals monitor the control panels for these systems 24 hours a day. If there is a fire emergency in your room, evacuate it and notify the Front Desk. If you have any questions regarding fire emergency procedures, please contact Security by dialing 5827.
Power Outage Procedure
If you should experience a power failure, please call the Front Desk. The resort owns and operates backup generators, and lighting will be sufficient in the hallways and stairways if the building must be evacuated. If you have any questions or concerns regarding power outages, please contact Security at ext. 5827.
