Adaptive Programs

Big Sky Resort partners with Eagle Mount to provide world class lessons for those with disabilities.

Eagle Mount's Big Sky Ski Program offers destination lessons for children and adults with a wide range of physical and developmental disabilities. The Big Sky Ski program creates the opportunity for all individuals, no matter their disability, to enjoy the exhilaration of snow sports. Using specially designed and adaptive techniques, anyone with a disability can learn to alpine ski. Ski lessons run out of both the Mountain Village, Madison Base, and Yellowstone Club.

Eagle Mount is an affiliate of Disables Sports USA (DSUSA) and a registered snow sports school with Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA). Their mission is to permanently and positively enhance the lives of people with disabilities by challenging limitations physically and mentally through personal achievement. The Eagle Mount ski program provides a doorway of opportunity whereby individuals may strive to realize their potential. Hence, resulting in families and friends being able to participate with and share in the skiing experience.
