Big Sky Resort Hosts Spring Concert Series & Pond Skim Returns

BIG SKY, Mont. – February 17, 2025 – Spring skiing means carving perfect spring corn, an enviable goggle tan, and dancing to world-class acts with Lone Peak in the backdrop. Big Sky Resort is bringing back Spring Series to make April a can’t miss month of on-mountain entertainment. After a five-year hiatus, Pond Skim is making its triumphant return on closing weekend. 

April brings four weekends of entertainment that will help anyone forget winter is ending.

Weekend 1: Spring Series Après Kickoff (April 4-6)

Dynamic duo Rell & Rose are bringing their electric beats to the Mountain Village Plaza. Bring your ski boots to the dance floor for legendary après sessions in the Plaza. Don't miss the Umbrella Bar’s shot ski, a spring skiing rite of passage.

Weekend 2: Lavern Live in The Bowl (April 11-13)

Watch Lavern perform live in a natural amphitheater surrounded by mountains. The Saturday, April 12 show kicks off the on-mountain musical celebrations in The Bowl. Complemented by daily après festivities in the Mountain Village Plaza, the good times keep rolling all weekend long.

Weekend 3: Bakermat Live in The Bowl (April 18-20)

The energy keeps climbing with Bakermat bringing beats to The Bowl on Saturday, April 19. Experience a proper mountain dance party with 11,166 feet of Lone Peak towering above you. More musical festivities ensure in the Mountain Village Plaza all weekend long.

Weekend 4: Pond Skim Returns & Closing Day Celebrations (April 25-27)

Pond Skim is so back. On Saturday, April 26, watch brave souls attempt to ski or board across frigid waters. This beloved tradition has moved to a new venue at the base of The Bowl. The energy follows off-mountain, with après in the Plaza, Friday through Sunday.
