Big Sky Resort is proud to offer discounted lift tickets to military service members and their family members.
Verified military members include active duty military, veteran or retiree, Reservists or National Guard, military families with an active military ID, and Gold Star families. Family members of veterans do not qualify for this offer.

1. Verify Your Status
Use the dialogue box below to enter your details. Big Sky validates your military ID using SheerID. Qualifying military members include active duty military, veteran or retiree, Reservist or National Guard, military families with an active military ID, and Gold Star families. Family members of veterans do not qualify for this offer.
2. Receive Your Discount Code
Upon verifying your military status, you will be given a one-time discount code to use on Big Sky's online shop. If you are looking to get discounted tickets for more than one qualifying person, a validation will have to be performed for each person, and they will receive their own code.
After 30 days, you can re-validate your ID for an additional code. We hope you take advantage of this offer throughout the season!
3. Use Your Discount Code to Buy Lift Tickets
With your discount code ready, shop Military Lift Tickets online. Add your tickets to your cart. If you need to purchase any other products, you can do so in this same transaction. Once you're ready, proceed to checkout. After you have assigned products and Sky Cards to members of your group, you will be asked to enter your discount codes to redeem your discounted lift tickets. The name on your validated ID must match the lift ticket holder. Finish checking out, and you're ready to go. We can't wait to see you on the mountain!

Starting winter 2024-25 all lift tickets include unlimited access to the Lone Peak Tram on the day of your ticket. Don’t miss the incredible experience that Lone Peak has to offer, whether you’re skiing or taking a scenic ride.

We understand that sometimes your plans change after you’ve made a purchase. Big Sky Resort lift tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. For cancellations, we provide E-Vouchers that can be used towards another online purchase at shop.bigskyresort.com . For full details, please visit our Help Center .
Head to the Lifts With a Sky Card
If you already have a Sky Card from a previous visit, welcome back! You can load your new lift ticket or season pass onto the card at checkout, and you can head straight to the lifts when you arrive. If you’re not seeing your Sky Card in your account, see our Help Center for instructions on reconnecting it to your profile.
