Gold Pass + Ikon FAQ

  • Your Ikon Base Pass gives you unlimited and five-day access to 43 destinations across the globe, as an additional benefit to your Big Sky Gold Pass. Each Gold Pass age group is eligible for an Ikon Base Pass.

Please note that the Ikon Base Pass is a secondary pass to your Big Sky Resort Gold Pass. Your Gold Pass is only valid at Big Sky Resort, and your Ikon Base Pass will be needed to access other resorts. Additionally, your Ikon Base Pass will not work at Big Sky Resort, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Aspen Snowmass, Deer Valley Resort, Alta Ski Area, Sun Valley, and Snowbasin.

Ikon Base Passes are non-transferable and only intended for the holder of the Big Sky Resort Gold Pass. Fraudulent Ikon Base Pass redemption will result in a canceled Ikon Base Pass.

  • Please visit to see the details on all 43 destinations included with your Ikon Base Pass.

For the 2022-2023 season, the Ikon Base Pass does not include access to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Aspen Snowmass, Deer Valley Resort, Alta Ski Area, Sun Valley, and Snowbasin. However, the Gold Pass includes Mountain Collective benefits, which gives you 50% off lift tickets at all Mountain Collective Resorts. To redeem your 50% off Mountain Collective benefit, go to the ticket window at the destination you'd like to ski, and present your Gold Pass.

Gold Pass holders may not upgrade to a full Ikon Pass.

  • - 8 Friends & Family discount vouchers valid at participating destinations (not valid at Big Sky Resort, but your Gold Pass has 8 $99 Buddy Passes)
    - Various food & beverage, retail, and lodging discounts at select destinations
    - Access to member-dedicated Stoke Events and entry to exclusive lounges
