Lone Peak Expedition

Ride the Lone Peak Tram to Montana's highest scenic overlook at 11,166 feet
-

Adventure to Montana's highest scenic overlook.

Ride up the Swift Current 6 chairlift, then hop in a safari-style expedition vehicle that will drive you to the base of the Lone Peak Tram. Ride the tram to the top of Lone Peak at 11,166 feet above sea level. The views from the Tram are spectacular, and only surpassed by those at the very top. On a clear day, you can see across three states, two national parks, and many mountain ranges.

Our guides will educate you on local geography, flora, and fauna. If you're lucky, you may catch a glimpse of the Billie and Nanny Goats that call Lone Peak home. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture the breathtaking views.

Guests of all ages and fitness levels can participate in this memorable activity. The guided tour is approximately 1.5 hours.

The Lone Peak Tram will operate for Expeditions Friday-Sunday from July 4 to September 8. Please note that access to the tram is only for Guided Lone Peak Expeditions and access is not included in scenic or bike haul tickets.
