Last Chair with Bob Dixon Bob Dixon first came to Big Sky in 1982 at age 33, after 37 years of patrolling, he is retiring. Dixon is famous on Lone Peak: For his Mr. Spock-like calm under pressure; for patrolling six days a week during most of his career; for his tall tales about surviving the 1960s; and for wearing only sunglasses until the temperature is below negative 10.

Ramcharger 8: The Story | Big Sky Resort Ramcharger 8, an eight-seat, D-Line chair with ergonomically-shaped, heated seats and a "Big Sky blue" bubble, now transports 3,600 skiers per hour to the top of Andesite Mountain.
