Classic or Skate?
Classic cross-country skiing is the traditional discipline of Nordic Skiing used to travel easily across the snow. Enjoy the fun and peacefulness of stepping and gliding through meadows and forests in any snow condition.
Skate skiing is an exhilarating movement using lightweight skis on groomed trails and often appeals kids and adults alike who enjoy a faster pace or a good workout.
TICKETS
Lone Mountain Ranch Nordic Skiing tickets are required while using the facilities and are not included in lesson or rental pricing. Kids 12 & under and seniors 70 & over ski free. Teens and adults can purchase tickets online or in-person at either Lone Mountain Ranch or the Big Sky Golf Course & Nordic Center. NORDIC SKIING PRIVATE LESSONS
Discover the Nordic Skiing Experience at the Golf & Nordic Center in Meadow Village. Whether you're a seasoned skier or a newcomer to the sport, adventure at your own pace. In this lesson, you can seek to refine your skills, or simply enjoy the trails with a certified pro. The two-hour session allows you to enjoy approximately 1.5 hours of on-snow time, making the most of your time on the Nordic trails. Our program is designed to accommodate a variety of skill levels and is best suited for students aged 6 and above.

Master the Meadow Nordic Skiing Clinic
Improve upon your existing skate skiing skills with technical instruction.
- Skate Skiing Session 1: 1 - 3:30 p.m. Thursdays January 9, 16, & 23, 2024
- Skate Skiing Session 2: 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Saturdays January 20, 27, & February 3, 2024
- Classic Skiing Session: 1 - 1:30 p.m. Thursdays January 4, 11, & 18, 2024
NORDIC SKIING RENTALS
Our Full-Day Rental Package includes boots, skis, and poles. Our Perfect-Fit Guarantee lets you swap out your gear throughout the day to ensure your comfort. Rentals are due back by the end of the day. Available for Adults and Youth in both classic and skate. Sizing for children fits most kids ages 6+, please call with youth sizing questions.

For lesson and clinic cancellation and general policies, please see our Mountain Sports Policies. Rentals can be cancelled or rescheduled more than 48 hours in advance without penalty. Within 48 hours there is a 50% charge to cancel or reschedule. Please add 4% tax to all rates.
Adaptive Nordic Skiing
Eagle Mount Big Sky Ski Program offers nordic skiing lessons for children and adults with a wide range of physical and developmental disabilities. The Big Sky Ski program creates the opportunity for all individuals, no matter their disability, to enjoy the exhilaration of snow sports. Using specially designed and adaptive techniques, anyone with a disability can learn to nordic ski. Nordic ski lessons run out of the Big Sky Nordic Center and Lone Mountain Ranch.
