A special 3-day event just for women, led by ski racing champion and renowned ski coach Lisa Ballard. YOUR TURN - BIG SKY is part of a national program led by Lisa, with the help of Big Sky's talented women pros. Improve your technique and tactics on a variety of terrain and conditions, learn about trends in women's ski gear to help you ski better, and master the mental side of skiing. It's YOUR TURN to have a great three days on the slopes! Join us February 13-15, 2024.
Maximum 18 participants - 3 ski groups with 6 per group based on ability level, pace, and skiing goals.
With Big Sky's vast and varied terrain, you'll ski where you never thought you could. This clinic takes you through a progression that gives you the know-how and confidence to ski with grace on different slopes and snow conditions. Each day builds on the previous one, using drills, video analysis, and individualized feedback on the hill. You can pick specific things you wish to work on as the clinic progresses, such as how to ski powder or steeps, what to do with your hands, how to carve on the groomers or master the bumps—all with the knowledge and camaraderie of Lisa and Big Sky's top coaches.
The minimum ability required for this clinic is a parallel skier on groomed blue (intermediate) terrain.
Included in the clinic:
- Welcome reception
- 3 days of coaching from Lisa Ballard and fully PSIA-certified women instructors
- Daily breakfast buffet at the Huntley Lodge
- Daily lunch
- Private meeting room to store your bags in the Huntley Lodge
- Video analysis
- Pre-skiing sessions on trends in women's skis, ski tactics, and mastering the mental side of skiing
- Apres-ski drinks and apps during "boot camp" - everything you wanted to know about ski boots and getting the best fit

One month prior to the start of the event, Lisa will send you a Skier Profile to understand your skiing ability and goals for participating in YOUR TURN - BIG SKY. Closer to the start of the clinic, you will receive a detailed schedule and other information, including where to meet and information about the check-in process.
- Registration is $1,800 plus 4% tax.
- Discounted lift tickets ($165 per day) are available at the Mountain Sports Office upon arrival.
- Discounted lodging is available for participants. The booking link will be in your registration confirmation email.
- A Big Sky RFID card is required for lift access.
- Registration is non-transferable.
