This signature route takes skiers and snowboarders across the resort to see new sights and dive into the nooks and crannies that make this mountain special. The route is intermediate-skier friendly and can be started from any base area. Take on the challenge yourself or go with a guide to get the most out of your time on the mountain.

Base Area: Mountain Village

Join the Loop: Start the route from the top of the list on Ramcharger 8 and get first tracks on Elk Park Ridge, one of Big Sky's most beloved groomers.

Where to eat: Treeline Coffee for handcrafted espresso drinks and pastries, Vista Hall for lunch options for everyone, and the Umbrella Bar for Big Sky's best après scene.

Montage Big Sky

Base Area: Montage Hotel

Join the Loop: Take the Lewis & Clark chair and make your way to Southern Comfort and the top of Andesite Mountain for unbeatable views of Lone Peak.

Where to Eat: Wildflower Market for fresh-baked pastries and specialty coffees and teas, Alpenglow for lite bites and craft cocktails, and Backcast Bar & Grill for slopeside ramen and Asian-inspired après.

Shedhorn Grill

Snack Spot: Shedhorn Grill

Located on the south side of Lone Mountain, the Shedhorn Grill is a Big Sky favorite for burgers, beers, and sunshine.

Lone Peak Tram

Must-Do Experience: Lone Peak Tram

Take your experience to new heights. Opening December 19, 2023, the new Lone Peak Tram travels to the top of Lone Mountain, providing challenging and dynamic terrain, a stunning viewpoint, and a spectacular ride.

The new tram lower terminal can be accessed by green runs and is open to scenic riders, making the ride accessible for more than just advanced skiers. If you do choose to ski the peak, rejoin the route at Powder Seeker 6. We recommend starting with Liberty Bowl if it's your first time off the tram.

Base Area: Madison Base

Join the Loop: Take Six Shooter to Lone Tree and start your morning with Lookout Ridge, a long groomer with unique views of the Madison Range.

Where to Eat: Headwaters Grille for casual eats all day long.
