The Biggest Skiing in America awaits you.

Big Sky is known for pushing the limits of skiing. Whether it's providing 4,350 vertical feet of terrain from the top of Lone Peak or installing North America's most technologically advanced chairlift⏤we're always looking for new ways to evolve into something bigger.

300 degrees of skiing off Lone Peak, surrounded by three other mountains, spans 5,850 acres of terrain to explore. Resort skiing has a whole different meaning when you can take a lift to sweeping expanses of glades, hike to steep and technical chutes, or tackle the renowned Big Couloir steps from the Lone Peak Tram.

Seamless accessibility is provided by the most advanced lift network in North America, boasting Ramcharger 8 as the first of its kind worldwide, and Swift Current 6 as the fastest chairlift in North America, meaning warm-up breaks and cross-mountain traverses don't have to interrupt your day.

There's even more adventure to Big Sky than epic days on the mountain. Located just an hour from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, don't miss an opportunity to explore geysers and see wildlife from a snowmobile or snowcoach, or explore the North side of Lone Mountain on a five-mile dogsledding excursion.

Experience the one and only Lone Peak

Ride the Lone Peak Tram to 11,166 feet above sea level for 300 degrees of skiing, views of three states, and two National Parks. Breathtaking to see, even more breathtaking to ski.
